SVP OLC & Infrastructure Development
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: Indonesia
Role Purpose:
The SVP is responsible for leading the company’s exploration strategy, resource development, and long-term mine planning, while also overseeing the execution of major infrastructure projects, including the overland conveyor (OLC).
This role ensures alignment between resource growth and capital project delivery, driving sustainable value through geological excellence, optimized mine development, and disciplined infrastructure execution.
Key Responsibilities
Exploration & Resource Development
- Lead exploration strategy, drilling programs, and field activities including mapping, sampling, geophysics, and QA/QC.
- Utilize and oversee advanced geological tools such as Leapfrog, Vulcan, Micromine, and GIS for modelling, interpretation, and target generation.
- Oversee geological modelling, data validation, and QA/QC systems to support reliable Mineral Resource estimation.
- Support Resource & Reserve updates in line with JORC 2012 standards (preferred).
- Provide technical inputs and risk assessments for Scoping, Pre-Feasibility (PFS), and Feasibility Studies (FS).
- Guide exploration targeting across porphyry and epithermal copper-gold systems.
Strategic Mine Planning
- Support long-term mine planning for open-pit operations and underground transition scenarios.
- Contribute to pit design, mine scheduling, cut-off grade optimization, and infrastructure planning.
- Support CAPEX/OPEX modelling and technical-economic trade-off evaluations.
- Ensure integration across geology, mining, metallurgy, hydrology, and project teams.
OLC & Infrastructure Development
- Provide executive oversight of the engineering, design, permitting, and construction of the overland conveyor (OLC).
- Review engineering studies, geotechnical assessments, route optimization, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with EPC/EPCM contractors, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure delivery within cost, schedule, and safety targets.
- Ensure alignment of OLC with mine planning, material handling strategy, and operational readiness.
- Oversee project risk management, contractor performance, environmental compliance, and quality assurance.
Governance, ESG & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure compliance with permitting, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote strong safety leadership, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.
- Maintain relationships with regulators, landowners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate technical reporting and documentation aligned with ESG standards.
Leadership & Budget Management
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across exploration, planning, and infrastructure delivery.
- Manage exploration programs, drilling costs, and project budgets with disciplined cost control.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across technical, operational, and project teams.
- Develop internal capability and strengthen leadership bench strength.
Qualifications & Experience
- 20+ years of experience in copper-gold exploration, resource development, and mining infrastructure or capital projects.
- Strong expertise in porphyry and epithermal systems.
- Proven experience with geological modelling, drilling execution, and data management systems.
- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., overland conveyor or bulk material handling systems).
- Familiarity with JORC 2012, QA/QC protocols, and resource classification.
- Experience working within EPC/EPCM project environments.
- Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or related field.
