Territory Manager
Position: Territory Manager
Location: Singapore
What You Will Do:
- Full ownership of the Client business (and extended Client portfolio) in the region, both from new engines sales and aftermarket service perspective
- Business Development of new customers in region through direct and indirect channels, with focus on industrial applications (Metal & Mining, Chemical, Power Generation, Biogas Power Plants)
- Close collaboration with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and Engineering FEED companies to ensure early engagement of the Client on all relevant projects, plus good connections with financing firms
- Support of existing customers in the region through direct and indirect channels
- Continuous development of the Client presence in the assigned regions, including organization and participation in industrial workshops, conferences, and trade fairs (in collaboration with Client head office and regional corporate offices)
- Supervision of preparation of technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with other stakeholders within Client head office
- Management and coordination of technical and commercial proposal negotiation with both Direct Customers and Partners
- Ensuring a high level of forecasting accuracy for incoming orders and working closely with Head Office on product delivery timelines
What You Have:
- Industry Knowledge in Gas Energy Sector
- Specialization in mechanical engineering / industrial engineering / electrical engineering or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of industrial customers in the assigned region, with special attention to Metal & Mining & Minerals, Chemical, Power Generation, Biogas Power Plants, and other major industries in the region
Customer Focus and Business Development
- Proven experience in sales and/or project management in industrial environments, preferably in engine market business
- Strong business sense and commercial acumen
Effective Communication
- Proficiency in fluent English is a must
- Professional, confident, and able to represent the company in front of C-Suite executives of major customers in the region
Relationship Management
- Provides effective responses to customers’ requests and builds strong relationships
- High level of initiative, open-mindedness, and intercultural curiosity to collaborate with internal stakeholders
Additional Information:
- This role requires traveling at least 50% of the time within the APAC region
- This position requires working onsite five days a week
