Head of Finance (Jakarta, Indonesia)
We are assisting one of our clients, an American Multinational Organisation in finding a Head of Finance to be based in Jakarta.
Role Overview
The Head of Finance provides essential financial and accounting support to a designated facility, subsidiary, or business unit. This role involves delivering business analysis, cost assessments, financial guidance, and strategic planning support to the Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
· Support business unit planning efforts for senior management, including the facility manager, business unit manager, and Vice President.
· Conduct cost and investment analysis for senior management, focusing on aspects such as plant rates, ROI, pricing, and make-or-buy decisions.
· Participate in consensus decision-making processes for the facility or business unit being supported.
· Manage routine monthly financial reporting, including profit center performance and Rolling Business Management (RBM), as well as oversee annual business planning processes and executive reviews.
Education and Experience Requirements
A degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
Required Skills
· Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business principles, tools, and processes for effective decision-making in a corporate environment; capable of applying this knowledge in various scenarios.
· Finance and Accounting: Proficient in finance and accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting; able to apply these skills effectively across different contexts.
· Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Skilled in the decision-making process, including the use of analytical tools and techniques; capable of assessing situations accurately and making informed, productive decisions.
· Effective Communication: Knowledgeable about communication principles, tools, and methods; able to convey, receive, and interpret information accurately through appropriate communication techniques.
· People Management: Experienced in managing teams, with the ability to lead, resolve conflicts, and address performance-related issues effectively.
Knowledge of US GAAP Standards / CCA Certification
· Advanced understanding of US GAAP
· Certified Chartered Accountant (CCA) certification
