Labor Relations Manager (Batam)

Our client is a fortune 100 corporation and the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives and financial products. 

Additional Info:

You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment. Domestic relocation is available for this position.

What You Will Do:

  • Directing the operation of labor relations programs and functions in the organization; ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Establishing and maintaining satisfactory labor-management relations to promote a positive labor management relations environment within the organization.
  • Overseeing and guiding the resolution of all types of labor relations issues including collective bargaining agreements, grievance procedures, arbitration, etc.
  • Advising management on changes to existing policies to ensure compliance with new or proposed regulations.
  • Representing the organization in general legal hearings on local regulations pertaining to labor issues.

What You Have (Required):

  • Good proficiency in English.
  • Having 10 – 15 years of experience in labor relations.
  • Expert in Indonesian labor laws.
  • Required Skills: Conflict Management, Influencing, Risk Assessment for Industrial Issues, Disciplinary Actions, CLA Negotiation, Interpersonal Relationships, Industrial Relations, HR Legal and Regulatory Environment, Coaching and Employee Engagement.
  • Ability to strategize & execute labor relations program.

Top Candidate Will Also Bring:

  • Experience/background in large-scale company.
  • Additional experience or background in HR Business Partner.
  • Have a strong network with the government related to Labor Relations.
