Managing Director (MD) - Singapore

Position Overview
The Managing Director will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the company’s sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence in Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region. The role is accountable for executing the Board’s strategic vision, driving business development, ensuring compliance, and leading cross-functional teams toward performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the formulation and execution of business strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Oversee daily operations, financial performance, and business growth across manufacturing, production, and supply chain functions.
  • Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strengthen client relationships, partnerships, and regional market positioning.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing management team, fostering accountability and innovation.
  • Represent the company with key stakeholders, industry bodies, and government authorities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15–18 years of leadership experience in industrial, manufacturing, or engineering sectors, including senior P&L responsibility.
  • Proven success in strategic planning, business transformation, and regional market development.
  • Strong financial acumen, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO, HSE, Lean, or operational excellence frameworks.
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin or Bahasa proficiency is an advantage.
