Service Sales Manager
About the role:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Service Sales Manager to oversee sales and service operations in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will develop strong customer relationships, uncover business opportunities, and manage lifecycle services. This position requires a deep understanding of the Oil & Gas sector and strong leadership capabilities to guide service engineers and collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all business development, sales, and marketing opportunities in Indonesia.
- Develop and strengthen current customer relationships while identifying new ones.
- Increase market share and margin within defined company constraints.
- Oversee all aspects of aftermarket sales and Lifecycle Services (LS) operations.
- Act as a role model and point of contact for all service engineers.
- Coach service engineers to improve performance, morale, and minimize disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with the Eastern Hemisphere GM to determine market strategies and pricing.
- Lead proposal development in coordination with Sales, Commercial, LS, and Aftermarket teams.
- Work with the Engineering team to resolve customer inquiries and technical issues.
- Take charge in emergency situations and FNCR processes, ensuring engineers understand procedures and billing.
- Coordinate spare parts, repairs, transportation, and equipment monitoring.
- Follow up on accounts receivable with customers.
- Prepare periodic reports on prospects, intake, revenue vs. budget, P&L, and growth forecasts.
- Uphold company values and demonstrate high commitment to operational excellence.
Qualification & Experience:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and Services in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Understanding of both offshore and onshore operations.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, QA/QC standards, and API specifications.
