Technical Sales Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Sales Manager to join our client’s team in Dubai. This role is responsible for driving sales of solar and hybrid power systems, specifically designed for the hospitality and events markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of renewable energy solutions, proven experience in technical sales, and a strong network within the hospitality industry. This position combines technical expertise with a strategic sales approach to support the growth of our client’s presence in the hospitality and events sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development & Strategy:
- Identify, target, and engage new business opportunities within the hospitality, event, and entertainment sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders such as event organizers, venue owners, and other potential clients.
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop sales strategies and customer acquisition plans.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for expanding product offerings and increasing sales.
- Product Presentations & Technical Expertise:
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations of solar and hybrid power systems to potential clients, showcasing the benefits and technical capabilities.
- Provide clients with expert technical advice on system configuration, design, and integration specific to event requirements.
- Create detailed technical proposals and solutions that meet client needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
- Negotiation & Closing:
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring all client requirements are met and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure smooth transitions from sales to execution.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Provide ongoing support and consultancy for clients, ensuring satisfaction with both products and services post-sale.
- Be the point of contact for troubleshooting, inquiries, and any additional client needs regarding system usage and maintenance.
- Reporting & Performance Metrics:
- Regularly report on sales activities, performance, and pipeline progress to senior management.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company’s overall growth and profitability.
Requirements:
- Experience & Skills:
- Proven track record of 3+ years in technical sales, with a focus on renewable energy solutions (solar, hybrid, or similar) or power systems for large-scale events.
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality, event, or entertainment industry and a strong network within these sectors.
- Strong understanding of the technical aspects of solar and hybrid power systems and how they can be tailored for hospitality events.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred.
- Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English

- Must have a valid UAE driving license and ability to travel within the region as needed.
